A new interpretation of our terroir, the Eclosion cuvée is 100% vinified and aged in concrete eggs.
This second white wine profile is found on the same terroir as the 949 - Beaujolais-Villages Blanc, at the foot of the Montgenas hill. The
Chardonnay vines are planted on a northeast-facing hillside.

Viticulture

Facing north-east on a gentle slope, this single plot has been entirely planted with grass, a deliberate choice to preserve the balance of the soil and encourage biodiversity.

Vinification

Direct pressing after chilling, with no sulfur added during vinification.
Vinification in concrete eggs on fine lees with a 2-month fermentation at 16°C.

Special vintage

2024

2024 was a challenging vintage or can be called a “winemaker vintage”. Rainy and wet vintage that involved precise follow-up with a very short summer and hot season. Harvest started 10th of September. This vintage reveals minerality and tension of our Chardonnay for white wines and fruitiness and freshness of our Gamay in Fleurie with very interesting and delicate tasting profile.
